All In For Kids | Lake Washington Schools Foundation

Dear Friend,

WOW! With your help and support, we met our goal of $50,000 for our Fall Campaign.

With these funds, we’ll be able to continue our mission: to gather and deploy community resources to enhance academic access and to nurture all students’ emotional well-being.

We can’t thank you enough for supporting the youth and families in our District. Continuing our work is only possible because you’re on our team.

Celebrate the Month of Gratitude with LWSF!

Lake Washington Schools Foundation proudly partnered with Microsoft during its October Giving Campaign. Several Microsoft teams created letters of gratitude for teachers and staff in our school district. We will be sharing these messages with them throughout the month of November!

What is YOUR family doing to show gratitude for LWSD teachers and staff this month? Here are some ideas:

  • Write or email a thank you note to your child's favorite teacher or staff member
  • Have your child draw a picture for their teacher
  • Surprise a staff member by bringing them a sweet treat!

Show us how your family is expressing gratitude by posting a photo on social media with hashtag #lwsfgratitude!

Become a Lunch Buddy for an LWSD Student!

Did you know there are students at LWSD elementary schools in need of a mentor right now? Make a difference in a student's life by giving 45 minutes of your time each week for lunch, games, crafts and conversation.

"When you go in, they just light up, and you know in that moment you're making a difference to that kid individually." - LWSD LINKS Lunch Buddy
